I have been contributing to ASAP every since its beginning many years ago. I am 100yrs old, don't see well, don't walk very well, and have 2 hearing aids - but I am still interested in ASAP. Hope this check will help.

    One client's note:

I came from Corpus Christi, Texas. Traveling with two children wasn't easy. I came up here to get away from my abuser. When I first came up here I lived in Indiatlantic with my brothers-in-law. I was told that I was a beggar, so I guess my welcome there was overdue. So I had been looking at the Orlando coalition for the homeless. I called and called, no answer. I got on the computer and the first shelter that caught my eye was ASAP, so I thought about it but went on looking because my mind was on Orlando and then Miami. After looking for a while, ASAP showed up again. I said, well all they can say is no, so I called. Ms. Sharon answered the phone and she said, "Be here between 12 and 2 pm." I got there at 2:30 and by this time I thought we were too late. When I got here I felt right at home. I was so happy. ASAP was God-sent and has been ever since. I thank God for all the wonderful people I have met here.

The memories I have of ASAP will never die. This is the one place that if you can't figure out what to do with your life, at least you still have your sanity when you leave.

Love is something that you're raised with, but at ASAP Love is a Given.

    Help us spread the word!
If your organization or religious group holds regular meetings, please contact us about providing a speaker. Karen Bolden, our Executive Director, will send someone from our speaker's bureau to help educate the community about ASAP Homeless Services. We are amazed by how few people are familiar with ASAP and what homelessness is truly about.
Once people know the facts, they want to get involved!
